The highlight of my week – finished the large piece of my tiled crochet project!!
It took quite a bit of engineering, testing and remaking. I crocheted 4 corners separately, trying to keep the bottom of triangles curved. Sewed the corners to the ring and started crocheting all around, evening it out with different stitches. Now it’s done it feels like the entire project is almost complete 🙂 That’s obviously is not true, but sure feels like it. Today’s plan is to join some smaller pieces together and make a revision of what’s left to do.
These pictures illustrate the overall mood at home rather accurately. Find a sunny spot and relax! Since June is about to start, I plan to follow their lead. Therefore, I brake my promise to post every Sunday. Perhaps it will be every other Sunday? Or maybe I will be so inspired, I continue the same frequency 🙂 My summer goals are:
- Grow tomatoes
- Finish crochet project
- Photograph all finished craft items and finish portfolio
- Complete school graduation project
- Draw daily
- Gather enough inspiration to last winter
- Be happy
