Remember the white linen decorative towels at your grandma’s? With lace edging and embroidered monograms they were not meant for drying hands, but to cover the “real” towels and create a clean and finished look to the bathoom. As children, me and my brother didn’t quite get the idea, so we used them as towels are supposed to and got scolded frequently for making them dirty.

Linen is simply superb material – cool to skin, water absorbent and gives your glasses shiny finish.
These linen towels are made as my summer practice project at school. They have drawnwork edging and linen crocheted lace.
